High performance light barriers

The robust CA-S and CA-D photoelectric sensor systems are primarily used in harsh environments such as those exposed to dirt, vibrations, or impacts. They are characterized by their division into three components: a transmitter unit, a receiver unit, and a controller. This allows the system to be used universally with all optical operating principles, as required.

The transmitter and receiver are extremely small, allowing for installation even in the tightest spaces. Three different housing options are available. Despite their compact size, ranges of up to 25 meters are achievable, and the wide beam angle prevents adjustment problems.

A key feature of these  light barriers  is their high degree of insensitivity to optical contamination. This is achieved through the design of the transmitter and receiver housings and a special switching technology. Combined with their high IP67 protection rating, these devices are particularly suitable for applications such as car washes.
